Lil Steve, from Hamilton, graciously volunteered to do merch, while Lucy was nice enough to man the door.
People began to arrive,
Bands began to play,
Waterblues (http://myspace.com/waterblues) also Hi, Lonely Oak (www.myspace.com/hilonelyoak) played first. We don't have any photos of Hi, Lonely Oak, sorry, bummer.
Ladyhawk (ladyhawkladyhawk.com, myspace.com/ladyhawk) - immediatly jumping from top 50 to top 10 bands of life... SO FUCKING GOOD!!
Thanks to everyone who came out and helped out in any way, we appreciate it times a million. xoxoxox.
Oh and also, for information on the label that brought you this show, Storyboard, and more photos (better, awesome and an embarressing one of me), please visit http://www.storyboardlabel.com/blog.html.

This Drawing Is A Story
Vernissage Friday April 13th 2007
April 13th- 19th
My Hero Gallery 3655 St. Laurent Blvd. Suite 206
Rebecca Rosen, Jack Dylan, Lee McClure, Nick Diamonds, Naomi Cook,
and Chris Taylor
Curated by Rebecca Rosen and Naomi Cook
We're hosting an unconventional comic book show. With no ties to standard panels and word bubbles, here the work is distilled down to a narrative baseline. Without regular means of storytelling, or familiar ways of reading stories, the artists and audience will be working together to discover new kinds of narrative, and new ways of exploring traditional comics.
An impressive lineup of artists, known internationally for their comic and illustration work, will be challenging the audience and themselves by using the tools of their medium: dialogue, exegetical and non-exegetical text, characters, time and space-based panels, and other traditional comic book elements, in subtle and innovative ways.
